Tyn Dwr Hall, Llangollen

Wow! This has to be one of my all time favourite wedding venues.

Tyn Dwr Hall is a venue that makes me feel very lucky to be a wedding photographer in North Wales. Tucked away in the Welsh countryside near the picturesque town of Llangollen, this stunning Grade II* country hall wedding venue is nestled amongst ancient woodland and the beautiful greenery of the North Wales countryside.

Tyn Dwr Hall is a stylish historic hall built in 1866, and it really does have it all: magnificent grounds, its very own waterfall, a grand hall, a ballroom, and garden rooms. It truly is a fairy tale wedding venue. Tyn Dwr Hall boasts a mock Tudor design, striking turrets and a bell tower, whilst its grounds and gardens are nothing short of magical.

Tyn Dwr Hall really is a wedding photographer’s dream. I feel very lucky to have been given the chance to shoot weddings here and this place never fails to provide me with the perfect setting for stunning wedding photography. Come rain or shine, no matter the weather, it’s breathtaking both inside and out. Think handcrafted fireplaces, stained-glass windows and dark wood staircases inside, and romantic waterfalls bordered by trees and wildflowers outside.

As a wedding photographer, you really can’t ask for a better backdrop to create spectacular photographs. Tyn Dwr Hall is nestled in the Dee Valley of North Wales, and the approach to the Hall is along an enchanting woodland-lined drive, which perfectly sets the scene for this idyllic wedding venue. The Hall is surrounded by ancient forests and countryside with panoramic landscapes: the perfect setting for wedding photographs that you’ll cherish forever.

Tyn Dwr Hall boasts all the features that are straight from a wedding photographer’s wish list! I’ve captured stunning photographs near the picturesque waterfall, and shot relaxed moments of guests enjoying drinks on the garden terrace, while all the time being surrounded by beautiful views of the North Wales countryside.

The Ballroom at Tyn Dwr Hall makes for one of the most romantic settings for a wedding ceremony that I’ve ever had the pleasure to shoot at. The ornate sandstone fireplace is the perfect setting for memorable photographs of couples exchanging their vows. In summer, you can choose to have your ceremony outside at Tyn Dwr Hall, with ceremonies taking place in the pretty summer house alongside the stream: what more could a bride and groom (or a wedding photographer!) wish for?!

Tyn Dwr Hall’s beauty and charm never fails to blow me away. So if you are planning a wedding in North Wales, and have fallen in love with Tyn Dwr Hall as much as I have, please contact me to chat more about this stunning venue and how we can make some beautiful wedding photography happen.
