Tower Hill Barns, North Wales

Tower Hill Barns is a wedding photographer’s dream. Tucked away in the Welsh hills in a little village called Trevor near Llangollen, it’s the kind of venue that makes me feel lucky to be a wedding photographer in North Wales. I love the mix of old and modern, with the 250 year old converted cattle barn now being used for wedding ceremonies as well as the stunning outdoor space under a railway bridge.

The staff here really do make this venue extra special, and the food at Tower Hill Barns is AWESOME too (always a bonus!). But as a wedding photographer, the really brilliant thing about Tower Hill Barns is that there are so many awesome places to get THE shot. Whether you’re indoors or outdoors, there is a perfect photo opportunity in every corner. With bright and airy barns offering lovely space for portraits, or acres of beautiful lawns and gardens, this gem of a wedding venue even has its very own wildflower meadow!

As with many wedding venues in North Wales, Tower Hill Barns is surrounded by natural beauty. This is one of the many things I love about being a wedding photographer in North Wales: there are countless photo opportunities amongst the stunning Welsh countryside, and Tower Hill Barns is no exception. Couples have the option to get married either inside, or outside amongst the lush green countryside. Those choosing to have their ceremony outside can get married outside beneath the historic railway bridge, surrounded by rolling hills and lovely gardens: these ceremonies make for some outstanding wedding photography.

I have been lucky enough to be a wedding photographer at Tower Hill Barns and this venue never fails to provide me with the perfect backdrop for stunning wedding photography. From photographs in a rustic barn setting, to shots of guests enjoying sundowners at cocktail hour on the terrace, I’ve captured images that will be treasured for a lifetime.
