My favourite venues for an Autumn wedding in North Wales

Autumn in North Wales is truly magical- crisp air, golden leaves, and cosy venues that make your wedding day feel warm and intimate. As a wedding photographer in North Wales, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing images at some of the region’s most stunning venues, and today I’m sharing my favourites for an Autumn wedding…

Tower Hill Barns, North Wales

Tower Hill Barns perfectly balances rustic charm with contemporary style, making it ideal for an Autumn wedding. The exposed wooden beams, stone walls, and intimate lighting create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere for your ceremony and reception. Outside, the grounds transform beautifully in Autumn, with trees turning rich amber and pathways lined with fallen leaves, perfect for seasonal wedding photography.

Tyn Dwr Hall, North Wales

Tyn Dwr Hall is a classic country house venue with elegance and character. Its historic interiors, complete with grand fireplaces and polished wood, are perfect for that warm, autumnal glow. The surrounding gardens and woodland areas offer a stunning backdrop for romantic couple shots, especially when the leaves are at their peak. For wedding photography, Tyn Dwr Hall provides both sophistication and that cosy, intimate feel that makes Autumn weddings so special.

Soughton Hall, North Wales

Soughton Hall is one of North Wales’ most striking wedding venues, combining stately grandeur with homely charm. Its versatile interiors- from ornate ceilings to cosy corners- allow for beautiful Autumn wedding photography. Outside, the expansive grounds feature mature trees and gardens that burst with autumnal colour, providing a wedding photographer’s dream backdrop for couple portraits and group shots alike.

Highfield Hall, North Wales

Highfield Hall is a hidden gem, perfect for couples seeking a charming, intimate Autumn wedding. The warm, inviting interiors and period features create a cosy atmosphere, while the surrounding countryside and gardens take on spectacular autumn colour. As a wedding photographer, I love capturing the contrast between the soft, golden light of an Autumn afternoon and the elegant architecture of Highfield Hall- it makes every photograph feel timeless and romantic.

North Wales wedding photographer

Autumn offers a unique opportunity for cosy, intimate celebrations. From warm indoor lighting to the vibrant outdoor colours, venues in North Wales provide the perfect mix for couples seeking romantic wedding photography that captures both the season and the spirit of their day.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in North Wales who can capture the beauty of your Autumn wedding day, I’d love to chat and show you how I can bring your celebration to life.
